Ubuntu (ùbúntú): a South African ethic or ideology focusing on people's allegiances and relations with each other. Rough translation in English: "humanity towards others" .... "I am because we are." ... "The belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity." New Rehab Programme for Street Kids

I Care in cooperation with Durban Children's Home, has started its second life skills/rehab programme specifically for street children. We take kids directly off of the streets that want to leave and provide a 3 month life skills programme with an emphasis on drug rehabilitation. We start with 10 so that individual attention can be given to each of them. We are already seeing some drop outs due to their addiction to glue... more updates to come. These are two of the guys in the programme on their first official day at Durban Children's Home.
